Coming Summer 2015 - Dr. Carlin's College Application Training Camp
For the past two years, Dr. Carlin and a colleague have conducted a very successful College Application Training Camp for incoming High School Seniors in Daytona Beach, Florida. This summer, Dr. Carlin is bringing this popular course to Michigan for interested students. Dr. Carlin will offer two variations of this course. Both course formats will include guided completion of your student's college applications and an essay writing/revising process that will result in completed applications for the colleges of their choice.
Format #1: A week-long, intensive course the first week of August where students will meet with Dr. Carlin (in-person) in a classroom environment and revise and complete their applications and essays during a five day process. Format #2: A month-long course where students will meet with Dr. Carlin online and revise and complete their applications throughout the course of four weeks with multiple revision and completion deadlines. Both formats will take place in August, after the Common App Essay Prompts have been announced and most colleges have released their own essay questions.
